Russell Moore wrote a interesting article Christianity Today on how Christians should view cremation. Click here to read. I would love to hear anyone's perspective and thoughts on what he has written.

"Our God is able to empty urns, to enliven graves, to restore limbs. We'll be home, and we'll be whole."
My thoughts exactly.
I do not think that it matters what state the body is in. I believe my brother who is an amputee will be accepted into Heaven just like a someone who was cremated or perished in a bombing, fire, car accident. I'm going to have a new body in Heaven, no matter what it looks like on earth. Jesus wants me just like I am.
My mother and my best friend were both cremated. I have no doubt of their being wholly resurrected - God is powerful over ashes or dust. He is able to create the earth with a breath and He is able to make us whole - spiritually and physically. How they lived their lives matters - they were a testimony to God's faithfulness. I know that the remains or cremains of a person should be treated respectfully and in both these cases, I know they were.
